Mathematics thinking method, the essence of mathematical knowledge and the core of mathematical quality, is the important content of middle school mathematics education. Focusing on the teaching of mathematics thought and method will help the students to infer other things from one fact comprehend everything by analogy and set students free from the sea of questions so as to effectively improve the efficiency of mathematics teaching and the students' mathematical quality.The essay, based on the research into the"ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards(experimental)" and the relevant mathematical thought and method in the mathematics literature, from the definition of mathematical thought and method of the related concepts, sums up several main mathematics thinking method in the high school(normal school)and some examples. Subsequently, on the basis of the modern teaching theory, pedagogy, Psychology and so on, the essay analyses, proofs and generalizes the theoretical foundation of mathematics method in normal school. Finally, the essay, by means of some detailed teaching examples, illustrates how to find and infiltrate mathematical thought and method in mathematics teaching.This essay mainly concerns the following issues:1. To carry out a survey on the mathematics thinking method of interest, attitude of the normal school students(the equivalent of high school), usage, mathematics thinking method teaching present situation, in order to pave the way for further research;2. To introduce mathematical thought and method and their application in mathematics teaching in normal school;3. To put forward some suggestions on teaching through the teaching practice analysis. This essay, to some extent, answers how to teach by linking mathematics thinking method in normal school with the current teaching materials, and carry out some practices, which is of great theoretical significance to mathematics teaching.
