Information technology, which is characterized by multimedia and Internet, has been influencing all aspects of our society remarkably. Meanwhile, the rapid development of ICT (information and communication technology) has greatly changed people's lifestyle as well as learning style, thus higher requirement for education is needed. The development of era indicates the direction of education, which aims to open education, creative education and quality education. Therefore, the traditional education must be innovated. The scope of the innovation not only includes the instructional contents, instructional tools and instructional methods, but also includes the instructional concept, instructional ideas, instructional theory and instructional mode.The applications of ICT in education establish the foundation for the implement of new instructional concept. The new instructional mode based on learning theory of Constructivism has been applied widely and made great impacts. At the same time, a lot of problems are exposed. How to deal with these problems has become the focus of the present instructional innovation.On the view of dialectical materialism, Contradictions exist everywhere and everywhen. The procedure of the development of anything is also the procedure of resolving the contradictions. Instructional design is a programming activity, which instructs the whole instructional procedure and determines the instructional impact greatly. During the procedure of instructional design, if we analyze the relationship of these contradictions with the view of on Contradiction of Marxism, it will be of great benefits to the solution of the problems.In this paper, the author makes use of the view of dialectical materialism to analyze the relationship of the contradictions, which emerge in the contents of instructional design, and provides some elementary methods to deal with these problems. It is hopeful to help teachers to do instructional design.
