Nowadays, the development trend of global economic integration makes the international competition become fiercer; the fundamentality of the competition among various countries is the talents and the personnel's quality. In any countries or regions, those who want to seize the opportunity in new era and get achievement must know that the key to success lies in developing higher education energetically. The institution of higher education is not only the base where the talents are trained and sent to society, but also the place where the talents are assembled and used. It is well known that a high-quality faculty is extremely important to existence and development of a school. As far as our country' s situation at present is concerned, the quality of teachers in the universities is not optimistic. Compared with that of developed country there still remains a certain gap, the outmoded theory of faculty-management and the comparatively backward system can't meet the needs of development in new era. So it is very important and essential to strengthen theoretical research and practical exploration of teacher' s manpower resources management of the university, Only by widening research train of thought constantly and looking for new countermeasure can we raise the whole qualities of faculties in the university authentically, realize the university' s own sound development and send more outstanding talents for the country.The research train of thought of this thesis is to regard basic theory of human resources management as the foundation, combine the current situation of the teaching body of university of our country closely, analyze the question existing in faculty-management at present, and optimize faculty human resources of university, promote the level of empoldering and managing human resources of university roundly. The research adopts the method of combining the theory with case analysis, relying mainly on theoretical analyzing and conducting literal deducing during the process of analyzing in theory.By beginning with theoretical research of human resources management,the thesis analyses especially concepts and characteristics of human resources, human resources management and human resources of the university. It emphasizes the importance and necessity that strengthens faculty human resources management of the university from angles of process of nation at present and the needs of university's own development. With a series of data the thesis analyses especially the current situation of the faculty of the university in China at following aspects: title structure, academic structure, age composition, study relationship structure, etc. It points out the shortcoming more apparently by comparing with that of the foreign university. At the same time having combined the reality it analyses the main questions existing in faculty-management of the university on the base of which the thesis puts forward such corresponding countermeasure of faculty human resources management as following: First of all, we should establish the scientific theory about human resources management which includes fully respecting, depending on, developing and serving the faculties; Secondly, through setting up effective training mechanism, we should be sure that the administrative staff' s on duty each has certain a certificate, choose and train them seriously and improve the their whole quality; In practice, it is even more important that considering the reality of China, using the successful experience of the developed country for reference, we implement verily teacher-appointment system, establish the scientific appraisal system and incentive mechanism for faculties and build culture atmosphere of university, etc. By them, we attempt to improve our management on faculty veritably, furthermore, turn the traditional personnel administration into a kind of modern human resources management system.The characteristic of the thesis is to introduce the thoughts and theory of human resources management into faculty-management area of the u...
