K-12 information technology education has gone though over 20 years. Now, under the background of the 8th curriculum reformation on elementary education, IT education has taken placed many changes on the goals, contents and system of information technology curriculum. Information technology education has been endowed with new meaning. Information technology teacher's professional development is becoming an imperative task.But, Information technology teacher has their different characters ,such as the whole level of teachers is relatively low.individiual difference is evidence. So, The School-based Teacher Training has a lot of potential advantages in promoting k-12 information technology teacher's professional development.From the progress of information technology teacher, integrating demands of information technology reformation, this paper analyzes the problems of teacher training, brings forward some advices on information technology school-based training and puts forward mode of demand analyzing .content designing and training assembled ways.In the last part, the author selects the information technology teacher of HaiNan Province as researched objects. After a detailed investigation ,the author analyzes the actualities of teachers' professional development and the demand of teacher training. Working together with some areas and schools of HaiNan Province to carry out the school-based training. The training content centers on the information technology reformation. At last, through analyzing .researching and evaluating, making a summary of some effective measures and means of school-based training.
