At present the education of quality is being carried out. The teaching idea and method of the development of subject and project learning are playing a leading role in the teaching reform. How to develop students' advantadges of intelligence, exploit their intelligent potentialities, meet their needs of learning and enable them to develop in an all-round way ate a great problem that the whole society pay attention to.The theory of multiple intelligence used as a new theory, not only explains the education of quality but also gives us a theoretical support in the teaching reform which enables us to think more about the intelligence and provides us with a methodical guidance for the intelligence training.Howard Gardner, a professor in Harvard University, put forward a new idea of intelligence through years of studying and established a wide system of intelligence. In the US and some areas system of our country, the theory of multiple intelligence is being received well by people and is being used in the educational practice. It is convincing and affecting the teaching and author of this thesis is approaching the mode and the teaching tactics of developing the students' multiple intelligence in geography teaching and is expecting a new way of the education of quality in the teaching in order to exert his strength to the educational cause that he is loyal to.
