As an optimized teaching design, the breakthrough really exists in the process ofChinese teaching. Teachers have realized the significance of it while systematical andprofound researches on it are far from enough. Up to now, since the second reform ofcurricula was carried out in Shanghai, the renew of educational concept and theconsiderable teaching content have again made the research on optimized teachingdesign a heated topic. We think, choosing the breakthrough as the beginning ofteaching process helps teachers to grasp the characteristics of the teaching contents.Thus, teachers can organize the teaching flexibly and achieve the best result accordingto students'psychology and storage of knowledge.The essay consists of five parts. They can be listed as follows: the intension andthe theoretical foundation of the breakthrough of Chinese teaching; the breakthroughand the students'accomplishment for Chinese; the linking point of teaching betweenJunior high school and Senior high school; the breakthrough to teaching reading;the breakthrough in teaching writing.The first chapter is about that the breakthrough is the best starting point ofsmoothing away the difficulties in teaching and learning. The breakthrough is basedon humanism and constructivism. It has the features of feasibility, entirety, creativityand development.The second chapter reveals the background of the theory and practice, whichemphasizes the breakthrough of Chinese teaching is intended to improve the students'accomplishment for Chinese.The third chapter explores the present situation and cases of coherent problemsof Chinese teaching in Junior and Senior high schools. It shows that changing thenatural coherence into active coherence is the breakthrough to solve the problem ofseparation of Junior and Senior high Schools.The fourth chapter further discusses the channels and methods of looking for anddevising the breakthrough of reading teaching and analyzes the form of the problemdesigning as a breakthrough.The fifth chapter illustrates the four breakthroughs of the teaching compositionwriting. They are: activating the motivation of writing, advocating personalitywriting, producing the writing character and arousing the original cognitive writingability.
