Today an era of knowledge explosion is coming in the world, the updating of knowledge is becoming much faster. In the future, it will rest with the ability of lifelong learning ability whether our students are competitive and enjoy tremendous potential and the ability of reining knowledge skillfully in the information technology times. Further, in the new round of curriculums reform, it has been put forward to change the learning mode from passive to active and advocate the learning mode of self-regulatory, research and cooperation. Accordingly a new goal is put forward that actively seeking for the ways, strategy and methods about cultivating the self-regulated learning ability of the students. Biology belongs to the knowledge of natural science and have a wide contact with the daily life of the students; therefore the students have rich interest in the biology knowledge. It is the purpose of my thesis that finding and attempting the ways, strategy and methods about cultivating the self-regulated learning ability of the students in the junior high school in the biology classroom, further developing their self-regulated learning ability and established the basis of lifelong learning.
