Quantitative Analysis Of The Quality Of The Population And Economic Growth

Looking through the mist of economic development, every country and learner learned that in economic development, the most important factor is people, especially the people who master some kind of scientific knowledge. With the coming of knowledge economy, the times that depend on material and capital to compete have been replaced by the times that depend on scientific technology with a preface of population quality.Through the comparison of Liaoning and Guangdong, this paper analyzes the relationship of population quality and economic growth, and concludes that population quality of Liaoning is higher, but the level of economic development is lower. In allusion to this status, it puts forward some suggestions, in order to drive off the present difficulties, and accelerate economy to develop faster.The first chapter: On the basis of scientific analysis, through the comparison of definition and constitutions of population quality brought forward by native and overseas scholars, it puts forward definition of population quality, and discusses constitutions of population quality. This part is theoretical base for the whole paper.The second chapter: The analysis of the relationship of population quality and economic growth. Firstly, by physical quality and culture quality, it compares the present condition of population quality of Liaoning and Guangdong, and concludes that the present condition of population quality of Liaoning is superior to that of Guangdong; Secondly, by the comparison of the process of economic development after 1949, it concludes that the present condition of economic development of Liaoning is inferior to that of Guangdong. Finally, it concludes that population quality of Liaoning is higher, but the level of economic development is lower.The third chapter: From the point of quantification, it analyzes the influence of population quality to economic growth. Firstly, through the comparison of someinvestigative methods of population quality and economic growth, it puts forward its own metric method. Secondly, according to the method of factor analysis, it figures out the integrate index of population quality; then, by introducing production function model to the paper, it makes out the contributive ratio of population quality to economic growth. Finally, it concludes that the population quality of Liaoning- is more capable to accelerate economy to develop.The fourth chapter: The basic conclusion: population quality of Liaoning is higher, but the level of economic development is lower, because some factors impress economic development heavily. Aiming at these factors, it puts forward some suggestions to improve economy, and promote economy to develop rapidly.This paper has an important practical instruction to rebounding of Liaoning's economy.
