| Job satisfaction is an important study in teacher education. Level of job satisfaction can affect teaching attitude and also affect the quality of teaching. This study based on the domestic and foreign similar study the present situation and existence question to analysis. Descriptive and Multivariate Test were used in data analysis. The purpose of this study is to investigate Kindergarten teachers' job satisfaction as well as the relationship between the individual background factor and job satisfaction in Macau. Put forward a proposal in further facilitating job satisfaction for Kindergarten teachers.1. The overall of Kindergarten teachers' job satisfaction level is satisfying. Satisfaction in the job is relatively higher than that in salary welfare.2. The different individual background factor can affect the job satisfaction in different degree. On average, except the age, marital statues, years of teaching experience , education level, or whether in administrative work; the responsible of the Kindergarten teachers in Macau, the types and structure of the school, the classes the teacher responsible for, the salary they get can also affect their job satisfaction level.The concrete condition: (1) Teachers, who worked in different positions, have different, towards the salary, benefits packages and school environment. Among all the teachers, the subject teachers have highest satisfaction towards the school environment and their salary and benefits, (2) The perception of teachers towards the school's salary, benefit in public school is better than those in private schools.(3) There is significant difference on teaching work, career path, environment and interpersonal relationship from different dimensions school. (4) Teacher who teach K1 have higher job satisfaction than those teach classes in K3 level. Moreover, the higher the level of classes theyteach, the less the job satisfaction. (5) The higher the salary a teacher gets, the higher the job satisfaction they have to their compensation package.3. According to the result of the job satisfaction analysis, schools, Kindergarten teacher, the Education And Youth Affairs Bureau, and Higher Education Bureau has provided some solutions and suggestions for increasing the job satisfaction of Kindergarten teachers. |
