The language in mathematics has one's own unique characteristics. Junior school student has not grasped some language in mathematics (include the symbolic language of mathematics, mathematics vocabulary , sentence ,etc. characters language,figure language form of three kinds) characteristic, so it often appears that they can't understand mathematics language information correctly, can't use mathematics language to express accurately, thus learn to form certain obstacle and difficulty to mathematics studying. The language obstacle question in junior school student's mathematics study is comparatively general.For investigate junior school student's language obstacle and wrong behavior , in which place apt to appear mistake and origin cause of formation of obstacle, helping students to overcome , I have carried on the research at four stages:First of all, adopt the law of documents and materials, we study the relation between the language studied in mathematics and daily language, characteristics of different forms,etc.Then, through browsing the junior school student' s homework , carrying on classroom observing , interviewing to some junior school students,we know that there are some language obstacles and mistakes that the junior school student appears : Symbolic language respect, the obstacle of understanding and using " =", "( ) ", the discernment obstacles of letter negative sign ,f (5 ), operate obstacle ,etc; The language respect of the characters, there is " the word obstacle of mathematics ", " sentence structure obstacle of mathematics ",we think junior school student appears understanding obstacle and mistake when they read exercises of mathematics application have " the obstacle of words "," obstacle of the sentence " , " situation obstacle " , " structure obstacle " , " psychology obstacle "; The language respect of the figure , that they do not know the characteristic of the language information question of the figure causes mistakes , rely on ocular of figure given of the topic causes mistakes,etc. excessively.
