Since the founding of New china, with the constant development and changes of economic society, the arrangement of the course in our country has been readjusted, making it full of variety and flexibility However, the affects of the old examination-oriented education made course pattern simple and the content out of date ,lack of the spirit of the times and humanism .with the development of science and technology, the course system of the present elementary education doesn't match the demands of the development of the times and development of variety of the studentwith the problems with the course system of the present elementary education, guiding with humanism psychology, using the experience of international course reformation , Ministry of Education promulgated the Essentials of course reformation of elementary education (trial edition), in June,2001 marking our country's elementary education enters a new times of Reform. It puts forward the aim of education. It emphasis on moral education, innovation ability and practical ability,, scientific and humanism quality and environmental concept. Mean it emphasizes on student health, fine psychologic quality, healthy aesthetic concept and the wary of life. In order to achieve the aim, it puts forwards the six concrete aims: course enforcement and course evaluation. The course reformation will be carried out around the six aims system. The concept of new course will be put into each of the basic subjects in form of course standards.Ministry of Education promulgated "Essentials of course reformation of normal Senior Middle school" in March,2004. It sticks to the main role and the development of the students. Compared with the 1996 the course standard , the arrangement of the politics textbooks includes some parts, a required course and elective course included, to meet the students demands. It's the first time in educational history to set up a comprehensive course aims , knowledge and ability, process and methods, emotion, attitude and values. If ensures the student's' learning all life long and sustain able development. It strengthens the connections between course and social progress the development of science and technology and students' experience.
