Teacher is the developer, organizer and leader of the education work, playing a dominant role in the teaching activity and the teaching idea is the basic views for the nature and process of teaching, which will influence their perceptions of specific things and phenomena in the teaching activities as well as their decision in teaching activities. Any teaching reform or education activity relies on the updating of teachers’ teaching concept as well as the implement of corresponding teaching behavior. After the Education Ministry Education announced the《Reform Program for Basic Curriculums(Trial)》in 2001, it remained to be seen that what kind of the teaching idea that the new curriculum reform advocates is, whether the concept of middle school teachers achieve the requirement of the new curriculum reform or not and what the factors influencing new teaching idea to replace the old teaching idea are in the past 14 years.The study will use questionnaire survey, observation and interviews to investigate and analyze the current state of middle school teachers’ teaching concept and on this basis, to explore the influencing factors of middle school teachers’ teaching concept so as to propose education suggestions to make middle school teachers’ teaching concept transform.The main three conclusions are as follows:(1) The transition of middle school teachers’ teaching concept is not quite thorough, which can’t meet the requirement of new curriculum reform(2) The teaching concept of middle school teachers run faster than their teaching behavior. Although there are many teachers with advanced teaching ideas, they can’t fulfill their ideas owing to a series of reasons such as the school environment and the national policy.(3) The objective reasons to influence the transition of middle school teachers’ teaching concept are multiple such as the national policy, the parents’ pressure and the school conditions. The subjective factors are the experience, the habits, the attitude of the teachers as well as the subject they teach.Our research proposed the education suggestions as follows:(1) The country should provide policy support to promote the transition of the teachers’ teaching concept.(2) Improve the school conditions and updating the cultural constructions(3) Complete the evaluation systems to promote the development of teachers.(4) Combine the training before and after they get to work to enrich the teachers’ teaching concept.(5) Based on their own and encourage the teachers to evaluate themselves.(6) Get deep as a learner and a researcher to update the teachers’ teaching concept.
