What is the successful and unsuccessful way for the primary school headmaster in the country? What is the hint behind the successful way? How to speed the maturity and the success for primary school headmaster in the country?As one of the researches attached to "the General Research for the Mechanism and Principle of the Famous Headmaster and Teacher in Jiangsu Province" (hosted by Wang Tiejun), the thesis does a case study on the headmaster Wang Wenzhong in Danyang Fangxian Central Primary School. It explores the quantitative method including questionnaire, interview, observation on spot with the combination of the theoretical study.The result shows that the headmasters' learning ability has become a special leading, educational and developmental ability, which is also the impulse to success for the primary school headmaster in the country. The first decisive factors for the headmasters' learning development are their own learning quality such as attitude, persistence and ability. The environment also plays an important role.The result suggests that the headmasters' learning ability not only provides a new approach for their success, but also becomes a strategy for specialized way. It is advisable for the headmasters' employment, training, research, assessment, reward.
