New Science And Engineering Students Quality Study

According to what society at the new stage requires of students in colleges of science and engineering, this paper analyses the connotation of quality and the significance in studying quality education, clarifies the inevitability of promoting quality education among college students in an all-round way, discusses the current situation and the cause of qualities of students in colleges of science and engineering, presents the requirements and standard toward students in colleges of science and engineering, and suggests new ideas about cultivating scientists and technicians with good qualities. With the view of cultivating qualified personnel for Chinese socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, the paper explores a scientific system for assessing qualities of students in colleges of science and engineering and offers the basic and effective means of quality cultivation of students in colleges of science and engineering.
