The predicament of the high school poetry teaching of our country has already gone on for a long time .Now a large quantity of poems are added to the new teaching materials and the poetry capacity is enlarged. As the number of the poems with modernistic character is increased ,the poetry teaching is more difficult .The writer of this article attempts to viewthe poetry teaching in a new angle-in the holography thought. The theory of holography,which has risen in recent years, is a new theory to view the whole world .It treats things in the viewpoints of the high speed repeat and the whole miniature and so on. According to these viewpoints things are treated as a whole and viewed on the course of their development. The writer of the article applies the theory of holography and attempts to think up a series of new teaching ideas to reform the poetry teaching. They are: 1.Compile the brief teaching materials for the holographic poetry teaching. Grasp the special lyric character of the poetry and in process of the high speed repeat ,make the students experience the human lyric history again. 2.Set up the strategies for the holographic poetry teaching so that when they experience the process personally the students can go through repeating the poem -created process at a high speed. 3.Make the students comprehend "miniature" from "the whole" by tracing back to the model of the poetry creation. 4.Grasp the spirit of the poetry not only through cooperation but also through investigation and study. 5.Propose the students should try hard and study the poetry in course of poetry creation practice.
