Chinese curriculum standard defines the nature of Chinese, and brings up two new concepts for the first time, Chinese accomplishment and cultural capacity. This standard makes Chinese accomplishment an essential theory, and it also identifies the aim of Chinese curriculum. This paper gives a clear definition about cultural capacity, and makes a clear definition about cultural comparison between Chinese accomplishment and cultural capacity. The paper specially expounds three ways of how to improve students' cultural capacity, that is, study of literary works, study of non literary works and conversation. In the tactic of cultivating students' , the more important thing is to train student's scientific spirit and scientific way of thinking.
