Study Of The Cultural Vision Of The University Teacher-student Relationship

The teacher-students relationship is a very important relation in high education. It is a permanent focus for research into high education. Traditional education theory considered that the teacher-students relationship is a very complex relations system. That concluded work relationship, organization relationship and mind relationship. This idea didn't grasp the substance of the college teacher-students relationship. Human beings are cultural lives. Colleges are particular cultural organization. We research the teacher-students relationship from culture, can have a conclusion: the college teacher-students relationship is really a "cultural relationship".With the changing of conditions of social productivity developing, culture is developing and changing. That always affects the form and the characteristic of college teacher-students relationship. That is to say, the college teacher-students relationship will has different cultural characteristic, when the cultural form is different.From researching the form and characteristic of college teachers' culture and students' culture, we study their interaction principle, and mainly study the break between contemporary college teachers' culture and students' culture. We think there are two main reasons about it. From macrocosm, it is the schism between sciencism and humanism in industrial ages. From microcosm, it is the difference and unbalance between college teachers' culture and students' culture.Facing the form exchanging of culture, we can build the teacher-students relationship by the idea of cultural ecology. We should build an ecological teacher-students relationship. Which bases on the cultural ecological idea and in order to promote the free development of college teachers and students, which means that the college teachers and students communicating from all aspects, and which characteristic is harmonious, democratic, equal and common.
