With the social development and the re-positioning of talents, many countries require the high level of citizens' education. Nearly 10 years, as urbanization, high school examination qualifications, and the intensification of competition, the school system based on academic achievement and strict segregation is lagging behind the social development. How to make the educational system more flexible, check its competitive characteristics, reach the targets of expanding personality and freedom has become a major contemporary issue in the international education reform.With the rapid development of the world economy and the establishment of the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science" in China, our country is setting off a new round of basic education curriculum reform. In our current specific culture, level of economic development and teaching evaluation system, how do the senior high schools establish a more effective incentive and constraint mechanisms, and provide greater space to promote early talents and more talents? That the ordinary senior high schools carry out a credit system is a reasonable choice to ensure the diversity of their curriculum. Thus, the title of this paper is the exploration and reflection of the credit system in the ordinary senior high schools of China, and this paper from four parts explores the implementation of the credit system in our country's senior high schools. This paper is divided into four parts:First of all, the background information and the current status of the credit system are expounded on.The second part clarifies several conceptions, such as credit, the credit system, the academic year. Then it describes the type, features, and management of the credit system.The third part takes the situation of the implementation of the credit systemin the United States, Japan, and Canada for example. Then it exposes on the characteristics of the credit system abroad. Through this, this paper, with a view to providing experiences to the implementation of our own practice, explicates on the foreign practices.The fourth part explains, on the basis of the above three parts, the significance and the principles of the implementation of our credit system;put forwards the advices. At last, this paper points out the problems in the implementation of credit system, and also proposes the security system of the implementation of the school year credit system.
