| As the outstanding cultural heritage of our nation, the Confucianclassical works have played the extremely vital role in the traditionalculture education.Up to the present,it still shows bright vitality, andmight provide the rich cultural nutrition and the education experiencefor the current new curriculum reform, therefore we should advocate theConfucian classical works education in the language teaching. Based onusing for reference and developing the existing research results , fromfollwing three aspects, the basic understanding of the Confucianclassical works education, the practical significance of Confucianclassical works education and the practical principle and method ofConfucian classical works education in the language teaching, thisarticle launches the discussion research to " Confucian classical workseducation in the language teaching ", and proves the necessity and thefeasibility of the Confucian classical works education in thecontemporary language teaching.The full text is composed of three parts.The first part has mainly discussed the connotation of the Confucianclassical works,the history and the present situation of the Confucianclassical works education. The classics means the traditional authoritywork, "the four books and five classics", which were compiled by Confucius,either in the historical precipitability, in the widespread approval, orin cultural influence, etc, may be called deservingly "the classicalworks". The Confucian classical works education has a long history inancient China , and it has once formed a set of organic ideologies, servingas the legal language foundation of the social politics system . Howeversince the contemporary period, the traditional culture and the educationhave experienced a profound break, in hundreds of years, the traditionalConfucian classical works has lost its own position in the educationsystem . Until the end of the 20th century, the great "movements ofreading the Confucian classics" as well as the cultural debate it causes,tells us to carefully resurvey the nationality traditional culture, andattach importance to the cultural inheritance.The second part has carried on the practical significance discussionof Confucian classical works education.
