Training innovative talent imbued with scientific accomplishment is a vital challenge faced by China's education of the 21st century. The goal of the new chemistry curriculum criterion issued by the Ministry of Education requires students be able to plan, examine, evaluate, adjust and control their processes of chemical study by themselves and to strengthen the independently chemistry-learning ability. And achievement of the goal needs students possess stronger perceived self-efficiency of learning. But long-term exam-oriented education has been making part of students accumulate failures of their study, resulting in their relatively weak perceived self-efficiency of learning and obstructing their development.Training students' perceived, self-efficiency of chemistry-learning has taken as an important goal of quality education in this research and the methods of partial trial, questionnaire, behavior observation, interviewing, and documentary research qualitatively and quantitatively combined have been adopted. Based on a theoretical study of training perceived self-efficiency of learning, the teaching strategies, influence factors, and effect check of training middle school students' perceived self-efficiency of learning in chemistry teaching and learning have been practically investigated with some relevant experimental cases provided. There are mainly two experiments:Expt.1. In order to provide a basis for checking effects of training students' perceived self-efficiency of learning (Expt.2), the relationships of perceived self-efficiency of chemistry-learning, learning motivation and chemistry learning achievement have been investigated and analyzed.Expt.2. On the basis of Expt. 1, and in the light of the factors influencing the shaping perceived self-efficiency of learning, several teaching strategies have been used to train the second grade senior high school students' perceived self-efficiency of learning in chemistry teaching. The effectiveness of training perceived self-efficiency of learning and its influence on the perceived self-efficiency of chemistry-learning, learning motivation and chemistry learning achievement also have been studied.Under the experimental conditions, the conclusions resulted in this research are as follows:1. Perceived self-efficiency of chemistry-learning is a good predictor of the chemistry learning achievement.2. A student's perceived self-efficiency of chemistry-learning influences his (or her)...
