Digital Film Describes The Application Of Research In Education

In the new century, the progress of information technology brings new opportunities and challenges to educational development. In recent years, Digital Storytelling is a popular way for individuals to tell their stories with multimedia. This way is also applied widely in education, and has got certain effect.This paper discusses the connotation of digital storytelling: Introducing the background of digital storytelling; elaborating its concept and characteristic; analyzing its usage and merits in education; explaining the relations between digital storytelling and discipline study. Then, through the cases of using digital storytelling in education, this paper has analyzed the main form of digital storytelling in education and pointed out the significance of these cases for our country to carry out the activities of digital storytelling in education.Then, this paper elaborates the theories of digital storytelling. As an Ancient art with multimedia technology, digital storytelling contains many educational theories: such as knowledge management theory, multi-intelligence theory, consciousness development theory, etc. The paper has explained these theories one by one, and analyzes the relations between digital storytelling and these theories.On the basis of theory research on digital storytelling, we have carried out digital storytelling educational activities combined with discipline in BaoCi primary school and RiXin primary Scholl. In the last two chapters, this paper elaborated how to design these educational activities, moreover, it demonstrates the practice process of these cases, and reflects these educational practices. Despite evaluating the merits of using digital storytelling in education, this paper also proposes some questions that should be further discussed.
