With the universal popularity of digital mobile terminals,Chinese society has formally entered the digital era of the whole people.Various types of digital terminals have been closely integrated with people's daily lives and have gradually penetrated into all aspects of basic necessities of life.Under such an era background,the "virtual campus" with digital media as the carrier came into being,teaching is no longer limited by time and space,and juveniles and children can learn whenever and wherever possible through mobile phone apps and education portals and other digital medias.However,juveniles and children have limited ability to discern digital information and are easily induced by bad information on the Internet.At the same time,juveniles and children have too little awareness of the use of digital media,and lack the experience of relevant knowledge reserves of using digital media.Therefore,the promotion of media literacy among juveniles and children is one of the basic demands of the current social environment for the development of juveniles and children.In our country,it has been relatively late to develop the cultivation of the media literacy of juveniles and children,and it has not been developed for more than 20 years.Moreover,academic research on media literacy is in its infancy.However,educational institutions in some countries represented by Britain and the United States have established a complete education system for media literacy,and some countries have incorporated media literacy education into civic education.Therefore,through the comparative analysis of the history and status quo of foreign media literacy research and the development process of our country's research,the connotation and path for the exploration of media literacy among juveniles and children can be deepened.Because the use of media is closely related to the development of juveniles and children,both the government and the school can use children's natural closeness to media to guide their physical and mental health development,the cultivation of political socialization,the cultivation of beliefs,and the shaping of social behavior.However,the use of digital media and the selection of digital resources by juveniles and children are crucial issues in the education process.Therefore,the cultivation of media literacy among juveniles and children is mainly concentrated on the following three aspects: The first is to cultivate juveniles and children's critical thinking ability for digital media;The second is to cultivate the juveniles and children's ability to use digital media flexibly;The third is to develop the possibility of thinking for juveniles and children.There are three ways to cultivate the media literacy of juveniles and children: Firstly,the cultivation of juveniles and children's own media literacy requires the collaboration of children,parents,schools,and society.Secondly,the external environment for juveniles and children's media literacy needs to be explored in combination with four dimensions,such as the development and use of digital resources,the shaping of the home media use environment,the guidance of the use of campus media,and the purification and supervision of the media environment in the public common area.
