University Of The Republic Of The Pilot Zone System Failure Cause Analysis

In the late 1920's, China introduced the University District System from the France and experimented it in Jiang-su, Zhe-jiang, He-bei, Re-he provinces and Beijing, Tianjin city, but only two years later it failed. Although the experiment didn't impact on the educational excutive system of China nowadays, it was distinctive, intresting and worthy of deep research. This paper will give it more attention and further study, to analyse the reason of its failure.The author interprets the huge difference between China and the France at politics, culture tradition, educational expenses, the University District System itself, natural environment etc, and reveals influence of these huge differences on the failure of the University District System experiment in Nationalist China.It is pity that this paper is micro-research, if it was put in severe change of the education and society in 20th century, people could find out reason of its failure systematically and profoundly. At last, the author gives some suggestions of further research on the University District System.
