Epidemiology data has demonstrated that lipid profile disorders is one of the mainrisk factors of chronic syndrome, aggravating Insulin Resistance (IR). There is ahypothesis that lipid profile disorders is the primary pathology and physiologyinfection of Diabetes mellitus. Research demonstrated disorders of Lipoprotein lipase(LPL),Hepatic Lipase (HL) activity and Acylation Stimulating Protein (ASP)is correlative with lipid profile disorders in Diabetes mellitus.More and more attention was paid to function of Kinesitherapy in Diabetes'â… andâ…˘prevention. It is also one of the hotpots in Sports Medicine. Lots of research showedthat exercise can improve lipid profile disorders and prevent chronic syndrome. Our research investigated the effect of exercise on lipid profile disorders inStreptozotocin-induced diabetic rats, and explored the function of LPL,HL,ASP tolipid profile disorders in Diabetes and effect of exercise on them. It maybe provideacademic proof of Kinesitherapy improving state of diabetes, furthermore verifyingwhether there exists ASP resistance in Diabetes and finding new target for its treat.40 SD rats including exercise STZ diabetic group (DS), and non-exercise STZdiabetic group (D), and exercise normal group (CS) and non-exercise normal group(C) were used in the study. Exercise groups were trained with swimming for 10weeks. Increase of weight weekly, blood glucose, triglyceride (TG),Total Cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein (HDL),low-density lipoprotein (LDL),Free FattyAcid (FFA),LPL activity,HL activity,ASP,blood insulin and insulin sensitivityindex (ISI) were measured. The results showed:Compared with normal rats, increase of weight weekly, blood insulin and insulinsensitivity index (ISI) decreased, but blood glucose, triglyceride (TG) and low-densitylipoprotein (LDL) increased markedly, and HDL has the decreasing trend, and LDL hasthe increasing trend in diabetic rats. It shows lipid profile disorders in diabetic rats. After 10 weeks swimming exercise, DS group's blood insulin, insulin sensitivityindex (ISI) and HDL increased, increase of weight weekly showing increasing trendcontrasting with D group; however, blood sugar,TG,TC,LDL level decreasedmarkedly. But blood sugar and LDL of DS team were still higher than C and CS groupmarkedly, and blood insulin was lower than C and CS group markedly; CS group'sincrease of weight weekly decreased and HDL level increased contrasting with Cgroup. It showed that exercise can increase sensitivity of insulin and improve lipidprofile disorders of diabetes.Contrasting with normal rats, LPL activity reduced and HL showed a increasingtrend in Diabetic rats. After 10 weeks swimming exercise, LPL activity of DS group isincreasing, but is still lower than C and CS groups. LPL activity of CS group is higherthan C group. As far as HL activity is concerned, CS and DS groups showeddecreasing trend contrasting to C and D groups respectively. It demonstrated thatdecreasing LPL activity and increasing HL activity company with Diabetes mellitus, and exercise can improve their disorders.Compared with normal rats, blood ASP concentration and FFA level increasedmarkedly in diabetic rats. After 10 weeks swimming exercise, ASP concentration ofDS group is decreasing, but is still higher than C and CS groups. ASP concentration ofCS group showed a decreasing trend contrasting to C group. CS and DS groups' FFAlevel are lower than C and D groups respectively. So we conclude that there exists ASPresistance in Diabetes, and exercise can reduce ASP concentration and improvesensitivity of ASP.
