"self-driving-inquiry" is a basal acquaintance action of human, it conduces to individual learning and development for life. Nowadays, due to the limited understanding of "self-driving-inquiry", the thesis will systematically discuss "self-driving-inquiry" by theoretic analyse and practical research. The thesis is composed of five parts. In the foreword, it introduces the social background and the meaning of the study.Based on the Humanistic psychology, constructivism and pragmatism, the second part of the thesis analysises educational and psychological significance of self-driving-inquiry. At the same time, we discuss the practical significance of integration of "self-driving-inquiry" and physical curricula of high school.The third part explores the necessary of "self-driving-inquiry" with the history of human development and the reality of social life perspective, and focus on proving the necessity and feasibility of it in secondary education.Part IV explores a number of factors affecting the self-driving-inquiry of students in the learning psychology perspective, and provides empirical basis.Part V is the practice of research. First, we gain the basic principles of school education on guiding students to "self-driving-inquiry" and explore the feasibility basis. Then, we study the education effects. Finally, we believe that students in secondary school to explore autonomy is necessary and feasible, and "self-driving-inquiry" have the holistic development of students and the importance of lifelong learning.
