Physics pedagogics, a branch of pedagogics ,is a science to research the principle and the application of physics education l)rocess. It relate to the knowledge, skills and methods of physics, as well as the basic theory and rules of pedagogics, psychology, educational measure, statistic and evaluation. The aim of physics education is to study how to teach physics and how to improve the efficiency of teaching from both aspects of theory and practice 2Therefore, theoretical researchers and physics teachers explore from many aspects, such as the characteristics of physics thinking, the solving and token of physics problems, the efficacy of physics experiments, etc. Beginning with one of the factors of non-intelligence-students' physics study motivation, we attempt to do a basic work of it-surveying the motivation.Pedagogics and educational psychology, being independent relatively earlier than other subjects in the educational field, have accumulated a lot of theories, experience and research methods. As a new educational subject, physics pedagogic should absorb and utilize the production of them. Through applying the self-adjusting motivation theory and correlative literature together, and by carefully analyzing, we take out six steady-going and fathomable factors of the physics studying motivation-physics cognitive inner-driving, physics self-enhancing inner-driving, affiliated inner-driving, physics sense of self-efficacy, physics achievement attribution, volition. With related literature, we get the original physics study motivation questionnaire from the six factors. Then, By selecting randomly, a class in junior grade two and another one in senior grade one of the Guilin No. 1 secondary school, we take the first survey using the questionnaire. After analyzing the, data using SPSS, we deleted the items obviously disrelated with the sub-questionnaire and the whole questionnaire, and the items with low differentiation. We got the questionnaire in due form after editing the original one. And then, by selecting five classes randomly, we take a measure in due form in Guilin No. 4 Secondary School and Nanning No.2 High School. The results show high reliability and validity.The questionnaire can be used for the investigation and research on the middle school students' physics study motivation by physics teachers and researchers. With a strong theory basic, we can see the panorama of students' physics study motivation, so that we can educate them pertinently. This' questionnaire can also do help to increase the students' physics study desire and the interest in physics, and to enhance the physics study efficiency.
