Development Of Rural Mothers 'concept And The Girls' Self-awareness

Mother's breeding belief refers to her views on children's development, mother's expectation of children and education toward children in the process of breeding and educating them. Researches show that mother's breeding belief exerts its influence on children's development by means of her breeding behaviors. Girl's self-consciousness is interpreted as her perceptions of herself, of the relations between herself and others, between herself and society as well. Mother's breeding belief, the cognitive basis of breeding behaviors, is closely related with girl's self-consciousness. Therefore, researches about mother's breeding belief have great significance for the improvement of mother's quality and children's development.Researches about mother's breeding belief have been thoroughly conducted at home and abroad, most of which limit their samples to urban areas and focus on general breeding believes and ways. By far, there are few researches into the relations between mother's breeding belief and girl's self-consciousness in rural areas. Therefore, the present research aims to explore the relationship between mother's breeding belief and girl's self-consciousness in rural areas, locate main problems of mother's belief and propose some solutions to those problems.
