Research On The Application Of Satya Model In Improving The Relationship Between Mother-in-law And Daughter-in-law Of Left-behind Families In Rural Areas

With the development of economy and the acceleration of the process of urbanization,a large number of male migrant workers go to work in cities to improve the life quality of their families,thus increasing the number of rural left behind families day by day.Researches show that in the rural left behind families,the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law stay together for so long and their communication increases,while the two generations are different in values,living habits and other aspects,inevitably leading to many contradictions.Whether the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are on friendly terms has become the key factor that dominates the family harmony.Therefore,in the context of practicing the socialist core values and improving the care and service system for rural left behind women,the discords between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law of rural left behind families should be paid more attention.In order to improve family harmony,this study uses the theory and technology of the Satir Model to improve the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law from the perspective of social work.The study selected a village in northern part of Henan Province with many left behind families that could be used for investigation.Understanding the basic situation,the semi-structured interview method was used to interview mother-in-law and daughter-in-law of the left behind families in the village.After in-depth investigation,the author summarized the main manifestations,causes,and adverse effects of the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in the rural left behind families.Based on this,Based on this,the corresponding nature of using Satir Model to improve the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural left behind families was expounded and proved.Upon the above work finished,the method of case work was used to deeply intervene a typical case.In the service process,the Satir Model was used to improve the bad communication between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.The self-esteem and self-confidence of the clients had been increased and the feelings between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law had been enhanced.The case was successfully concluded.Finally,the author summarized and reflected on this service,and points out that the Satir Model can play a positive role in improving the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.But there are still some obstacles when it is used in the localized rural left behind families.Therefore,social workers need to master the theory and technology of this model more skillfully in the future,and use it flexibly in different family environments.
