Information Age Schools Theme Of Learning Design

The constant furthering of the new course reform and the development of educational informationization, will bring necessarily the reform of styles of learning, together with the innovation about organization of teaching content. In the information age, as a very useful try in the new course reform, thematic learning wins the popularity of primary and middle school teachers and students with its particular advantage. However, because it lacks the guidance of certain theories, there appears a tendency of overusing the pattern in the practice. And it gathers more and more suspicion and criticism. Aiming at these problems this thesis discusses the design about thematic learning theoretically.The paper starts the analysis of the status quo of the research on thematic learning in and aboard. Then it summarizes the connotation, and the foundational theory of the thematic learning. On this basis, the paper mainly discusses the four elements of the thematic learning design, including the choice about themes, activity design, resource design and assess design. With the research of the four elements, the paper summarizes the main principles of the choice about themes and activity design, aiming at the representative examples discussing the whole space, diverse activity design. It also analyses how to organize logically the resources of thematic learning and how to assess the thematic learning efficiently with the help of the information technology. In the process of design, the support of the information technology is taken into consideration. And the information technology is stressed as an efficient tool and powerful means to bring new opportunity to the development of thematic learning. In the end, the paper demonstrates several practical examples in order to provide certain references for the teachers on thematic learning design.
