The information technology based on multimedia and web has been a creative tool which people use to develop in 21century.The strong impact has been made by the combination of information technology and courses within the domain of IT education and development.The combination of IT and courses displays many characteristics,for instance the learning style changes from preaching to activity inquiry,taking real task pattern as study unit and the learning and evaluation is procedure oriented.The course takes the subjects,questions or task activities as the core of design.The activities emphasize on the personality development and also the cooperative learning.They emphasize on the process of knowledge acquisition and also the knowledge construction based on personal experience.Therefore the thematic learning pattern which takes subjects as the design core,centering on subject unit,has been a new form of the combination of information technology and courses and to a great extent become the leading pattern.Based on the development of curriculum innovation in basic education and the trend of e-education,this thesis explores the model of Resource-Based Thematic Learning(RBTL).Guided by the ideas of inquiry leaning,this thesis takes activity as its framework,and emphasizes on utilizing IT to optimize learning process and learning context.With the guideline of modern educational ideas and principle of instructional design,this thesis also discusses the main structure of RBTL and its application from three aspects:theme development,activity inquiry and evaluation.The resource of thematic learning is opening and its essence is the special research based on network resource,which is also cooperative learning system.With the special subject studied,we can design the framework of web site and content,and consult about information by means of research and active study.So that we can design and achieve a web site that has special aspect about content,therefore all the teachers and the students make the best of this web site to expand and improve their knowledge.They also communicate each other on line to resolve problems.So the students will regard the study as a nature part of life,and they will turn on the study.After independently researching,the students will advance their innovative abilities.The theory of information learning environment generalizes that the learning environment is supplied to independently learning and research to the students.The students may make the best of various tools and information to achieve their aim.They exploit their advantage of initiative and innovation by mutual cooperation or being helped by the teachers and their parents.The article is based on modern information technology resources exploited,which could accumulate abundant resources about various subjects.By the means of designing resource and exploiting and analyzing, the teachers and students can research subjects and analyze information to resolve problems,so that we will accelerate the space of teaching.The construction of study website which based on the internet is a new idea of the combination.It has the same basic characteristics as IT courses,because of the resources and technology conditions which provided by the organic combination of IT and a lot of knowledge. Study theme website is a kind of site which provides a lot of resources related to all kinds of themes. Through it the learners can do some researching more comprehensively and intensively,and their creative and practical abilities are also able to be cultivated,and the information can be obtained, analyzed,processed,utilized and evaluated so that the information and synthesis abilities can be improved.The thesis includes six parts.In the first section,we articulate the main concepts, characteristics,and components of RBTL,and then discuss the purpose and the realistic significance of RBTL.In the second section,we articulate the theoretical basis of RBTL.In the third section,we discuss and exemplify the models of theme development.The fourth section is the core of this thesis;we outline the main steps of activity inquiry and put forward the methods of carrying out autonomic inquiry and collaborative inquiry.The fifth section constructs a model of evaluation and discusses a variety of available evaluating methods.The sixth section is mainly about the design of the study theme website.
