This article shows the disaster recognizing status of children through interviewing with 5 to 6-year old children from 9 kindergartens in Nanjing area, and compares the different influences made by different factors such as gender, differences between urban area and downtown area and kindergarten at all levels.By study of children's disaster recognizing on phenomena, causes and countermeasures, the investigator found phenomena recognizing better than causes, artificial disaster recognizing better than natural one, boys' better than girls' and differences between urban and downtown still having an influence on disaster recognizing.Children's disaster recognizing on concept, result and common countermeasure presents different levels, which also reflects various angels of their recognizing. It could be concluded that gender and kindergarten at all levels have no influence on these aspects of disaster recognizing, while difference between urban and downtown has notable influence on children's moods and sensibility after disaster happened.Moreover, this thesis analyzes the current situation of disaster education on children through investigation on parents and tutors, and gives some suggestions on disaster education from aspects of principle, approach, style and measures as well.
