Confucian Educational Thought Of Contemporary High School Language Education

Confucian educational school has played an important role in 2000 years of educational development process in China, education in ancient China was led by Confucian school. As a middle school Chinese teacher, we need to reflect on Confucian school of thoughts in educational field, applying those in-depth thinking into our Chinese language education, realize critical-thinking based heritage.This article illustrate the impact of Confucian school of thoughts in middle school level of Chinese language education from following aspects:1. Interpret the basic contents of Confucian educational thoughts. In this part, the author clarified points of views of the most famous three representatives of Confucianism, namely Confucian, Mencius, and Xunkuan in terms of purposes, objects as well as learning methods of Confucian education. Ancient Chinese language education was also explored for analyzing the impact of Confucian educational thoughts on ancient education.2. Illustrate the current educational development in modern Chinese language field. Modern Chinese language education has achieved great progress in past dozens of years, especially resulted in the publication of "Chinese Language Text Standards" which played a guiding role in middle school Chinese language education. Yet, problems are still exists. That is not enough attention have been paid to the humanism part of middle school education. Other problems include weak in teaching methods and not very practical as well as qualification of the teachers, all those problems brought negative impact to the current Chinese language education.3. In order to improve Chinese language education, strengthening professional qualification of the Chinese teachers, we should reflect upon Confucian educational school of thoughts, carrying on those precious traditional insights from Confucian school of thoughts, make Chinese language teaching today more stronger.
