Building Learning School Of Strategy Research

The coming of the knowledge-based economy and information society has marked the advent of the knowledge-based, innovation-oriented, and person-centered era. How to face such a development opportunities and challenges lies in the schools with innovation to develop ideas and management models. Since 1990, Peter Senge put his research findings into the book "The Fifth Discipline—The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization" , various organizations all over the world sparked off a craze for learning organization. The theory of learning organization has theoretical prophecy, practicality and operability of methods and tools. And learning organization provides schools with the brand-new developing models because of its highly flexible, flat, human, sustainable development of the organization.Learning organization is a new type of organization and management theory, while school is not certainly a learning organization. Learning organization has its own essential character. In this article, the author places emphasis on the definition, content, features and related theories of learning organization to highlight that learning-centered school is the developing direction and goals of modern schools. Besides, this research collected data through observations, interviews, and analyses of documents based on NO. 3 high school of ECNU, focusing on the deep-rooted analysis of the obstacles existing in the construction of NO.3 middle school of ECNU from the four aspects of knowledge, behavior, organization and environment. At the same time, the author puts forward some principles of building a learning organization. And basing on that, the author introduces and closely analyses the seven effective action strategies, including conducting a self-assessment to understand the current status of development; building a common vision to create value pursuit; establishing management mechanisms to provide protection study; changing the organizational structure to strengthen democratic governance; Innovating school culture to create a good atmosphere; integrating a variety of methods to achieve genuine learning and reforming...
