Along with society's development, science and technology's progress, the human society has entered the digital technology new times. The modern society requests people to own various synthesis reading ability, including mathematics reading ability. Mathematics reading has rich education function, and the positive significance to student's development.This research uses the experimental method. The experiment includes two stages. In the first stage, to the two natural classes of middle school, mathematics class separately uses the educational model of "explanation, practice, test" and teaching method that developing students' reading habits in mathematics. Test has carried on for three years from grade1 to grade3. The research analyzed the three years academic achievements of junior students and the results in the entrance examination of university. I also interviewed with some students. And the conclusions as follow: (1)Making the students to read student's textbooks in mathematics class will have not negative influence on mathematics academic achievement and on other subjects. (2) The mathematics teaching in middle school that developing students' reading habits in mathematics, will make the students to have studying method and to be good for studying in high school. In the second stage I have done two month-long experiments in high school in order to further discuss the teaching strategies of developing the students' mathematics reading habits, the experiment indicates: (1) Developing students' mathematics reading habits is the process which proceeds in an orderly way. (2) In order to developing students' mathematics reading habits, we should make students understand the significance of studying mathematics. Finally, this article discusses the teaching strategy related to developing students' reading habits in mathematics.
