Blog To Promote Two-way Interaction Of Modern Distance Education And Training

Learning Supportive Services are the key to Modern Distance Education, while Bidirectional Interaction is the core of learning supportive services. Blog is a newly-developed social software, the effective employment of which is an important research topic of Modern Distance Education.The thesis, based on Bidirectional Interaction Theory and Adult Study Theory, analyzed the part Blog plays in Modern Distance Education . The research methods include literature investigation, interview, questionnaire , training and so on.The findings are that Distance Education based on Blog can promote Bidirectional Interaction, especially the interaction between teachers and students, and between students as well. Furthermore, the view that Blog can promote personal interaction is given. Meanwhile, advantages and disadvantages of Distance Education based on Blog are also analyzed. Finally, building and training strategies of Blog platform are put forward.
