Based on the conflict theories of sociology, this paper analyzes the conflicts between parents and teachers, I find there are particularities in conflicts between parents and teachers. Some academicians home and abroad have made plenty of research on it, but the research is not as good as the research on conflicts between parents and children, teachers and students. Cooperative partnership is the most ideal relationship between parents and teachers. However, conflicts are objective between them because of their differences in culture, value and expectation. Understanding these conflicts correctly is very important for relationship between parents and teachers, and for children's development.The conflicts between parents and teachers happen under some certain age background, we can't analyze the conflicts without analyzing the changes of the families and the schools which parents and teachers live. So from age background, using the methods of literature, case studies, questionnaire survey and interview ,analyzing the conflicts cases between parents and teachers, and parents & teachers survey questionnaires. By doing this work, I found that there are some particularities in conflicts between parents and teachers, that is: intermediate, concealment and bi-character. Intermediate is the most distinctive particularity, children are the main intermediate. It is tested that children's behaviors, and his depicts and evaluations to their parents and teachers can both cause conflicts between them. At the same time, the conflicts targets can be transferred easily, that is, abreact each other's dissatisfactions to children. So if we deal with itinappropriately, it will affect "the third party"-children's development. In a word, parentsand teachers should know the characters of conflicts between them, they should understand, respect, trust each other, it is an effective way to establish a harmonious relationship between parents and teachers. |
