This thesis selected behavior research as the frame of the study, examined and analyzed the issue of student individual knowledge construction during an aesthetic course designed by the author according to the theory of constructivism. The thesis has two parts. The first part described the public art course designed according to the situation teaching methodology of constructivism and using Xikai Church as the resource. The course was carried out in three steps in the order of static aesthetic cognition, dynamic history acceptation, and aesthetic criticism based on historicism; during the process stories reflecting student individual knowledge construction were observed and extracted.The second part analyzed the stories of knowledge construction during the course using the question frame of constructivism. Meaning examination and elucidation were carried out on the questions of student individual knowledge construction from three aspects, i.e., medium utilization, teaching situation and teaching objectives, from which discussions on viewpoints related to constructivism course theory were formed. |
