Seeking personal comprehensive and concordant development is regarded ultimate aim of 21st century's vocational education, and treat individual as root of value, but not technology. The aim require that the student not only become a career person, but also become a person who have good character, fine selfhood and innovative quality. Chinese is a basic subject of occupational school and it shoulder important task of cultivating career and perfecting personality. It should become important tech of self-enhancing and self-evolution which vocational school student has. Chinese extracurricular reading should become important chain that the student will become a person of self-enhancing and self-evolution.This text set out from vocational education aim of cultivation of able personal and characteristic of occupational school student. It collect widely, analyzes literature and combines inquisitional paper technique, visiting and chat etc. It investigates Chinese extracurricular reading of occupational school student status quo. On this base, I bring out correlation resource how to enhance. The investigation of occupational school students shows that extracurricular reading status is not allowing optimism, since I have researched extracurricular reading and combined the fact status of class that I am teaching. The ubiquitous phenomena is: The requisite levels is low, the interest of reading classic work is lacking, the method of reading is unsuitable, the environment of reading is absence, the direction of tutor is short. Meanwhile a larger number of schoolmates refuse to reading because of impact of seeing and hearing medium.This text aim at problem of vocational school student reading, and bring out guidable resource of Chinese extracurricular reading. At first I analyze the guidable resource by theory of extracurricular reading, then I define five principle of extracurricular reading, those are: principle of encourage, principle of system, principle of pertinence, principle of manipulation, and principle of creation. Hereby this text put out four strategy of extracurricular reading. Viz: stimulating strategy, orientation selected reading strategy, teaching the method of reading strategy, evaluation .strategy At same time of researching this task, I research extracurricular reading in the class that is taught by me. I look forward to improve the state of extracurricular reading by this investigation, and provide some useful reference for other teacher to coach after class reading better.
