On basis of the integrated analysis of the theory and practical development of students' performance evaluation both on and over abroad , making use of the empirical study , going deep into the actual evaluation in students' math study of M primary school, and working cooperatively with teachers of that school , and also studies the location of the performance evaluation in the evaluation of students and comes to the strategy of the carrying of the performance evaluation .This paper consists of 5 parts :The first chapter discusses theory about performance evaluation . The writer introduces mainly the forming background of performance evaluation , its conception and chief characters , combing up performance evaluation theory and its relative theories , the writer concludes especial factors of performance evaluation , including its aim , performance task , evaluation standard , etc . Finally , the writer makes out the merits and defects of performance evaluation as well as its location in the evaluation of students .The second chapter elaborates methodology , in the procession of research , the writer explains the main problems and gives out the research designation and methods .The third chapter is the main body of this paper . First of all , the writer makes feasibility study of performance evaluation , and aiming primarily at the display of the action study process and at the analysis and explanation of the experimental data . Making conversation with teachers of M primary school , surveying the classroom education and its daily education schedule , the writer acquires the current situation of students evaluation . Then , the writer finds out the problems and further reform and perfects the math education by bringing in a new evaluation method—performance evaluation . During the progress of the research , we encountered a number of difficulties and also discovered several problems . Through adjusting working schedule after our introspection , we moved forward our research to the end successfully .The action research demonstrates completely the designation of the performance evaluation , evaluation standards and the application process of performance evaluation . its significance lies in the improvement of the current evaluation situation . However , although the empirical study proves that performance evaluation can really motivate students' study ability , but it hardly increase their test scores correspondently.The fourth chapter comes to the conclusion and suggestion on the following 2 aspects : the location of performance evaluation in students' evaluation on one hand , and the difficulties of performance evaluation on the other . following the conclusion , the writer offers suggestion for the exploration of performance evaluation .Finally , the writer makes introspection for the action and experimental research and concludes the desirable elements and noticeable affairs .
