With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum implementation, theproblem of evaluation of IT teaching has been placed a high premium on.“Everythingis for every student’s development”is the core concept of the basic educationcurriculum reform, which is characterized by paying attention to every student,as well as their developments. It has aroused an extensive concern from educatorsthat how to apply this conception into their teaching. The overall objective ofthe high school IT courses is to enhance students’ information literacy,specifically, knowledge and skills, processes and methods, attitudes and thethree-dimensional target of values, the three levels of which progress forwardin a related, coordinate way and interpenetrate into each other.The evaluation is the key to the curriculum reform which is of vital importanceto IT teaching and acts as a leading role on students’learning. The phenomenonis prevalent among High schools that the evaluation targets are scarce and itsfunction cant live up to requirements. In order to improve the evaluation of ITteaching, we are supposed to enhance the teaching standards of the teachers andmotivate the students to take their initiatives in self-learning by means ofimplementing reasonable evaluating measures, which will sparkle their interestsin applying IT into reality and reinforce their ability to solve practical issues.In the teaching, we should focus more on process with properly penetrating theconception of performance evaluation, and the evaluation standard is their abilityand outcomes performed in the process of their applications of IT and resolutionof practical problems. Thus we can evaluate the students’ ability in operation,application and resolution and the formation of relevant emotions and values.This study targets at the problems arising in high school IT teaching, puttingforward performance evaluation being an important means in IT evaluation and wehave carried out practices combined with theory. The thesis at first any lysesthe current situation of High School IT teaching, then put forward the necessitywith reference to discipline features and the new curriculum requirements. Secondly, through elaboration and analysis of performance evaluation, it comesup with the procedures and ways to carry out performance evaluation combined withhigh school students’psychological characteristics and the features of ITdiscipline, plus we have conducted the research in performance evaluation in HighSchool IT teaching. and reach a conclusion that it doesn’t only make sense butalso is effective in students academic achievements and ability.Meanwhile,thereare also some problems in time span and quantities standards. so,it calls for moredevotion to explore and summarize a set of reasonable evaluation standards so asto optimize IT teaching and prompt the students’ improvements.
