| "The Criteria of Biology Curriculum for Senior High" is based on the need for the students' adapting themselves to the modern life and the future development. It not only lays special stress on the process of practice in learning the course of biology but also pays particular attention to the experiments and carrying out other practical activities. Emphasis has also been placed on the series of relevant skills, including operation skills and general skills for scientific research,thinking skills of comparison, judgment, analysis and inference and the mode of creative and critical thinking.The research has made an analysis of the present biology teaching in Senior High School and has pointed out some problems existing in the present experiment teaching. It is based on the theory of psychology and pedagogy and has explored the means of the forming of biological experimental skills. According to the goals of the experimental teaching and through years of personal practical teaching experience, the teaching mode of "Three Steps" refers to the analysis preparations of both the teacher and the students, the experiments of the students' own, extension and elevation , organization of the teaching material, designing of the teaching process. The author has not only clarified the content of the mode, its guidance, the process of its carrying out and some relevant teaching strategies, but also some teaching models.The study of the" Three Steps" teaching mode shows that it can not only arouse the students interest in carrying out the experiments, exploring nature, but cultivate the students' scientific attitude towards experiments,help the students grasp the scientific method, raise the students' experimental skills, so that the students overall abilities will be promoted. Therefore, the "Three Steps" of teaching mode has provided the reference for the future reform of the classroom experimental teaching. |
