Psychologists find that 20% of one success in career and happiness of life depends on the factor of the IQ and 80% depends on other factors,among which,the EQ is the most important.As a result,the EQ education has received more and more concerns of the whole society in recent years,including learning to control one's mood,defeat setbacks and get along with other people.But how to implement the EQ education?Up to now,various circles of our society have not reached a conclusion or formed an effective method about it yet. This research inquires into the present EQ situation of the continuation students as well as its influence on chemistry study. By systemic practice we can raise the EQ of the continuation students toimprove their studies. It 1 ays stress on raising their score in chemistry as well as their development. In this article the author tries to develop and perfect the EQ theory to some extent.The research synthesizes all the theories on EQ from home and abroad. The author designs "Testing Forms on EQ (Pre-1)" and "Testing Forms on EQ (Post-2)"based on the present EQ questions., which accord with the students' real situation. First, choose four classes which are similar to the experimenting objects and give them pre- and post tests . From this we know there is high consistence between the two tests. Then experiment the classes and groups individually for one year . Pay special attention to the combination of entirety study with case study during the course. Study some typical cases carefully and track them as well. Experiment some typical cases for one year on the other hand. The experiments proved quite effective: The EQ of the experimenting objects improved notably and they got higher scores in chemistry in college entrance examination. It is initially concluded from this that raising the EQ of the continuation students is beneficial to the improvement of their chemistry study.The research doesn't evade the education on the continuation students but treat the present situation seriously. The author tries his best to improve the students' chemistry study and promote their overall development. He hopes to popularize the research result among the three grades in senior high school after summarizing his research. At the same time the research can enrich the EQ theory in some degree and promote its development.
