This paper is devoted to the study of the function of mathematics theorem to the teaching in the middle school and also shows the function of the evolution of mathematics theorem. The paper, taking Pythagorean Theorem for example, analyzes the function, effect and the practice in the modern teaching. By means of comparing, apocalypse of how the evolution of mathematics theorem affects the modern teaching of mathematics is shown. In this way, it summarizes the function of the reforming in thinking from the original teaching. That is the teacher makes it clear the evolution of theorem in the way of the history of mathematics. Therefore the students can see the real course of the teachers'creation. The logical research spirits lying in the history of mathematics encourage the students to create. Teaching mathematics combined with the mathematics history helps the students understand better the inner meaning of mathematics and appreciate its charm. The paper comes up with some suggestions on compiling teaching materials based on stuff education. It embodies the mathematics directions in its development and introduces the latest science in mathematics. It also suggests that the teaching materials should pay special attention to the training of the students'abilities of thinking and creating. The foreign mathematics history should be added to the materials, showing the main trend in mathematics. The paper presets some suggestions concerned on the reforming of the teaching method in mathematics.
