Teachers are the principal part of education,Pre-service teachers are prospective teachers.Therefore,the knowledge structure and comprehensive literacy of pre-service teachers will directly affect the quality of education in the future.The "Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching" theory proposed by Ball and his team is a relatively mature theory currently investigating teachers' mathematics knowledge and subject teaching knowledge.To this end,the author chose MKT theory as the theoretical framework of this study,and made an in-depth investigation on the knowledge status of pre-service teachers of mathematics major in a university,hoping to provide reference for improving the subject knowledge and teaching knowledge of pre-service teachers of mathematics.Mathematical knowledge for teaching under the theoretical framework of Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching is divided into two categories:subject matter Knowledge and pedagogical content Knowledge,which contains 6 dimensions of knowledge.In this study,the author chose the knowledge of Pythagorean theorem as the carrier of investigation and testing.From five dimensions including common content knowledge,specialized content knowledge,knowledge at the mathematical horizon,knowledge of content and student and knowledge of content and teaching,we conducted a test survey on normal students.The research mainly adopts three research methods:literature research method,test survey method and interview survey method.First,the existing research on Mathematical knowledge for teaching theory,subject matter Knowledge,pedagogical content Knowledge,and the Pythagorean Theorem was sorted out,and the test paper "The test paper of pre-service teachers' knowledge of Pythagorean theorem from the perspective of MKT" was compiled.Analyzed and revised the reliability of the test paper;then,conducted a test survey on the selected sample of pre-service teachers,and selected 4 subjects for in-depth interviews based on the test survey;finally,the research and survey Comprehensive analysis of the results and give suggestions.The results of this test survey indicate that:(1)The width and depth of the knowledge of Pythagorean sciences for pre-service teachers need to be improved;(2)There is room for improvement in the teaching knowledge of Pythagorean theorem of pre-service teachers;(3)The knowledge level of pre-service teachers with a large difference in overall level of MKT varies greatly in each dimension;(4)Different factors have different influences on the knowledge level of different dimensions under the MKT framework.According to the results of this research,The author puts forward some Suggestions about how to improve the professional level of mathematics teachers before service:(1)pre-service teachers should pay attention to the consolidation of subject knowledge and strengthen mathematical research from a high perspective;(2)pre-service teachers should emphasize the improvement of teaching knowledge and pay attention to teaching case studies while strengthening theoretical research;(3)pre-service teachers should pay attention to the balanced development and comprehensive improvement of knowledge in five dimensions under the framework of MKT.
