As a new round of Chinese teaching reform sets off a climax, a new teaching idea has caught more and more Chinese teaching staff's attention——"green Chinese". What is"green Chinese"? What teaching notions does it convey? What are its features? What relative items should be paid attention to as carrying out this idea? On the basis of the attention to the above mentioned questions and under the tutor Cao Minghai's encouragement and guidance, the writer began the study on this new teaching idea of"Green Chinese"and accomplished this M.A. dissertation. In this paper, the writer mainly tries to analyze and discuss the teaching idea of"Green Chinese"from two respects——theory and practice. The writer hopes this paper can make wide Chinese education workers have a more profound comprehension to the new teaching idea of"Green Chinese"and make a promotion to the implement of the new curriculum standard.This thesis consists of four parts. Chapter I mainly treats the meaning and significance of the new teaching idea of"Green Chinese". After setting forth the background in which the new teaching idea of"Green Chinese"was presented and combining with different statements the writer gives the definition to the new teaching idea"Green Chinese"and points out its significance. Chapter II emphatically analyzes the features of the new teaching idea of"Green Chinese"respectively from four aspects——the nature of life, the nature of experience, the nature of edification and the nature of openness. From the presentation of teaching idea of"green Chinese"to now, though many people have made description and analysis to it, nobody has refined and generalized the idea more clearly. At this level, the writer tries her best to do it. It should be mentioned that this an innovation of this paper. Chapter III examines and summarizes the operating strategies by which the teaching idea of"Green Chinese"is carried out, respectively from two aspects——"Green Reading"and"Green writing", which should be the part of the most practical value in the paper. Chapter IV generally states these aspects which need attention, mainly including three aspects: sticking to one word——"student", emphasizing one word——"comprehension"and giving prominence to one word——"flexibleness", which aims to make a generalization to the operational main points by which the teaching idea of"Green Chinese"is practised.As my tutor Cao Minghai said, the paper's writing process is a promoting process in oneself. In order to accomplish this thesis, I was urged to read more related books. Combing with my own four years'operational practice and a summary of review to it, my comprehension and cognition to the teaching idea of"Green Chinese"was deepened. Though I have tried my best in writing, there is unavoidably superficial in making the definition to the teaching idea of"Green Chinese"and making the practical summary. I sincerely hope this thesis can get more criticisms and advices from more experts.
