Chemistry subject standard in the middle school embodies the request of times, foundation and selection. The students'science quality should be improved by considering the science research as the breach. In order to carry through the new educational idea of Chemistry subject standard the experts and many teachers fulfill the course innovation deeply and seek an effective teaching mode and method. There into the "problem-based teaching" become as the focus of the education theory and the operators.Problem-based teaching encourages students to experience in person to suppose and to solve questions through group cooperation by designing the problem-centered teaching situation. It is not asked to give the only answer to any questions in the course of teaching which is helpful for cultivating the students'creative thinking.This thesis will combine problem-based teaching with the characteristic of chemistry subject. This thesis illustrates this from 4 aspects. First, interpreting the situation of the chemistry problem-teaching. Second, interpreting the relevant concepts and types, and analyzing the chemistry problem-teaching concepts. Third, making an exploration of chemistry problem-teaching theory, procession and tactics. Forth, making an emphasis on chemistry problem-teaching experiment research, including experiment researches designing, procession, key point and analyzing of classroom case, and investigating the problem consciousness of students in the middle schools and the teachers'idea of chemistry problem-teaching. Finally, making an evaluation and conclusion on experiment research. Experiment researches show that chemistry problem-teaching improve the students'performance and problem consciousness.
