Citizenship education is a kind of means of wise citizen and cultivates people to participate in social life efficiently, which have paid close attention by the countries all over the world. The beginning of last century of our country, Chinese advanced intellectual saw the extreme importance of Transforming China's national character and strengthening citizenship education in the face of the severe situation Since reforming and opening-up, the scholar of our country has carried on many visual angles, multi-level research to citizen's education, forming and expanding the problem region of citizenship education with characteristic of Chinese, producing something richer, higher rationality and value research results. In fact, Existing research also exposes obvious limitation. In research that the citizenship education in our country," teenagers colony "all regard as the studying subject, and carried on relevant research around this colony. According to the conditions of the social development of our country and the population's composition state, adult social members take the great majority of the population of our country. If only regarded these students as implementation focal point, it is very difficult to satisfied society need of improving citizen's quality by a large scale. With the development of the economy and political of our country, the citizenship character required for participating in social and political life is becoming more and more high. However, there are still many problems existed, such as indifferent citizenship awareness and limited participating skill etc. The proposition of this thesis aims at educating analysis of the result adult citizenship in the period of China social transformation, and then put forward suitable channel and the goal of our country to develop adult citizenship education, seeks the breakthrough point of questing adult citizenship educational reform. Changes of the society and the character of times are realistic foundation and the material condition of the modern citizen education of our country. The development of IT and globalization gives the citizenship education of our country opportunity and challenge. Under this context, it has quite a great realistic meaning for us to research purpose and practical strategies for citizenship education in our social Transformation. I should explain that subject problem and analysis frame of thesis. The subject problem that this text should solve is: In the period of social transformation, Citizenship education which is regarded as the important content of adult education, should play the role of adult education and puts forward the suitable adult citizenship education purpose to improve the citizen's quality. The author seek the gap in ideal goal and reality, on the basis of absorbing and drawing lessons from forefathers' positive research have offered scientific foundation to study. Particularly, firstly, this research has carried on the current situation of study on citizen's education theory. Based on this, analyzes the intention of adult citizenship education in social transformation of China, and then, establishes relevant theories as the argument foundation herein. Secondly, takes the period of china society transformation as background; analyses for the adult citizenship educational present situation of our country; puts forward the historical necessity of establishing citizenship educational purpose. Lastly, puts forward the adult citizenship of our country educational purpose, and discusses for realizing channels and the strategies of adult citizenship educational purpose.
