As the urbanization process and the pace of township revitalization accelerate,the construction of small towns is on the agenda.Peasant citizenization with small towns or townships as carriers-the issue of local citizenization of farmers has become a hot topic for researchers.The localization of farmers on-site not only means that farmers have changed to townships in terms of identity and region,but in a deeper sense,they have realized the transformation of citizens' consciousness,moral cultivation,and lifestyle into citizens.Peasants' on-site citizenization is based on on-site urbanization.Compared with traditional peasant's citizenization,the former is more achievable and has the characteristics of "human urbanization".This research starts from the status quo of localization of farmers in town W,and follows the research ideas of finding problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems,and strives to provide suggestions for farmers in town W to accelerate the realization of local citizens.This study uses a combination of questionnaire survey and structured interviews to take peasants after in-situ urbanization as a survey object,and investigates the status of peasants' in-situ citizenization from five dimensions.The data shows that during the process of on-site citizenization,farmers generally have the problems of weak citizen awareness,improvement of moral cultivation,improvement of lifestyle,low cultural literacy,and imperfect technical skills.Through further analysis of the problem,combined with the actual situation,the author attempts to analyze the causeof the problem from the aspects of farmers themselves,local residents,communities,systems,etc.Related research shows that adult education has the role of promoting social adaptation of vulnerable groups.During the investigation,the author conducted in-depth interviews with farmers who had participated in adult education.The results show that farmers who have participated in adult education have stronger citizen awareness,higher moral cultivation,cultural literacy and technical skills,faster lifestyle changes,and can better adapt to township life.It follows from this that adult education is indeed effective in helping farmers to become local citizens.In order to help farmers realize local citizenship,this study puts forward suggestions from five aspects from the perspective of adult pedagogy,combined with the current status of farmers' local citizenship.First of all,we can enhance the education of citizen's consciousness and change the traditional concept of farmers.Secondly,we should carry out farmers' moral education to improve farmers' moral cultivation.And then,we should change the way of life of farmers.Moreover,we can use various methods to improve farmers' cultural literacy.In the end,we should carry out technical skills training to meet the actual needs of farmers.
