The development of modern society need people who have emotion and knowledge harmoniously. But in the background of exam-oriented education, now the status quo of high school history teaching is very anxious for us. Pursuing the percentage of entering a higher school blindly, attaching much importance to knowledge and neglecting emotion, Slightly, it can make the students hate history, seriously, it can make the students become indifferent to cultivating their emotion characters and impact the students' all-around development.In this thesis from the need of Quality-oriented Education, we narrated the necessity of using emotion to optimize teaching in such three aspects as: times request,the need of senior high schools' history curriculums goal development and the status quo of using the emotion to optimize teaching in senior high schools' history teaching at present; At the same time, aiming at how to change the status quo of attaching too much important to knowledge and neglecting emotion in senior high schools' history teaching, we introduced a entirely new teaching viewpoint as "using emotion to optimize teaching" into senior high schools' history teaching. Basing on teaching materials, we discussed the principles and strategies of using emotion to optimize teaching in senior high schools history teaching from two aspects as psychological theory and practical training and we tested the strategies feasibility in practice by using experimentation.
