The Mathematical Conversion Approach And Mathematics Teaching In Secondary School

Mathematics thinking method is people's basic realization to math learning that people refine from its concrete contents. Meanwhile, it is the ways, methods and means that people adopt in the process of the research and resolving math problems. The reduction thinking method is one of the most basic and commonly used thinking methods. At present our theory researches of the reduction definition, methods and principles have reached a new high, but these researches are still too superficial in terms of teaching and learning aspects and have not formed more matured research modes or theory systems. With respect to this, most of them are to research the principles or ways of reduction thought methods combined with the concrete contents.According to the research results of the predecessors, this article mainly explained the following several questions: First, it has analyzed the existed problems in the teaching research at present and thrown light on the significances of the reduction thinking methods;Secondly, it has also generalized its definition, principle, and strategy;Then it has introduced in detail the embodiments of the reduction thinking means in the teaching of the middle school;Finally we may put forward the teaching and learning principles, ways and strategies of these methods combined with the teaching experiences. The whole passage lays emphasis on discussing the teaching of the reduction thinking methods. Its teaching principles include: shift implicit to plain principle, the spiral rising principle, the system teaching principle, the inspiration and guiding principle. Its teaching ways follow: Carrying on the teaching in the class instruction, using the special course, and through the social practice. Its teaching strategies involve: to seek the reduction thinking method from the teaching material, to apply it in the teaching design, to treat fairly and overcome the side effect of reduction in the teaching and learning.
